Research interests:
- Nano- and micro-patterning
- Gold nanoparticles
- PEG-hydrogels
Description of the work:
My aim is to develop novel nano and micro patterning techniques with gold nanoparticles, which have different sizes and shapes, on PEG-based hydrogels for controlling and studying protein and cell interactions on surfaces. These kind of biomaterials are potentially useful for different biological and biomedical applications, especially as supporters for Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) measurements.
